Whether you're learning how to prepare your first stone or refining a favorite cabochon, our small family-run lapidary setting offers a way to work with suitable materials. Access depends on experience, approved equipment and reservation availability.

Independent Bench Station

$18 / hour

2-hour minimum • $36 minimum session

Reserve a bench for appropriate independent work, subject to orientation, equipment clearance and space availability.

Studio All Access

$70 / 3 hours

An extended workshop session with use of eligible equipment for visitors who meet the applicable training and approval requirements. Confirm included equipment when booking.

01 · Bench Workstations

Designated places to prepare materials, examine stones and complete suitable lapidary tasks. Please ask what tools and supplies are included before arriving.

02 · Flat Lap Polishing

Flat lap equipment may be available for eligible grinding and polishing work. Correct wheel selection, water use and safe operation are essential.

03 · Trim Saw Access

Ask about supervised or approved trim-saw work on suitable materials. Saw access is not included automatically with every booking.

04 · Cabochon & Finishing Projects

Discuss suitable shaping, polishing and finishing workflows for cabochons or display specimens, depending on equipment clearance and project needs.

Ⅱ · Confirm eligibility. We'll discuss required safety instruction, orientation and equipment clearance.

Ⅲ · Choose a session. Reserve bench access or ask whether All Access fits your work.

Ⅳ · Work safely. Follow posted procedures, use the correct protection and ask for help whenever uncertain.

Safety First, Always

Use of saws and polishing equipment requires appropriate training and approval. Not all guests can independently operate every machine. Material suitability, dust and water control, eye protection and proper equipment use must be considered. Some projects require a separate custom service rather than rental access.
