:: Fine and colorful allover covered Herati design main field with rainbow-like corner spandrels in parallel lines. On either side of the main border are two human figures depicted with small signature and date cartouche underneath. Four legged animals, serpents, and more are scattered throughout! Colors and shades include: Dark chocolate brown, charcoal, madder root red, powder blue, dusty beige, sand, chestnut, terracotta, copper, dark navy blue and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One end measures 3'4" whereas the opposing measures 3'7", which is within normal margins for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Northwest Persian rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 9'6".
